They have only been charged, and a trial isn’t expected before 2026. Unless there are conditions of their bail or legitimate grounds for contract termination they would still be eligible to play. But doubtful their teams would want that attention.

How does one order someone to do anything without a warrant? Nobody has to cooperate unless they are actually charged with a crime. In that case, you still can’t command them to do anything. It’s the police departments job to apprehend said criminal. This whole thing sounds weird.

I’m an oilers fan so I hate the flames, but I’m willing to give the Flames management reasonable doubt that they knew Dube’s involvement.
They’ve been very good as a team when it’s comes to mental health, and I imagine if Dube lied and asked for mental health leave to cover his ass the team would have granted it.
