I hope Marty stops playing head games with Arber. I feel Patrick Roy would makes us better if he was behind our bench. Marty plays favoritism that is going to hurt the dressing room.
Who'd have thought Eller has already played 1000 games? Slaf is playing awesome, he's becoming who we thought he could be when he was drafted and he's still just 19. He pulled a beautiful spin move on Crosby to get away and to fly down the ice almost scoring. I think Primeau would be better if he was getting to play more often.
Slafkovsky has played 88 games and had 30 points. You can say that's a little over 82 but to me that's still a 30 point player. He started by playing bottom line minutes for a while and could easily have 35+ through that 88. To me, that's not bad. He isn't the next Bedard and a 30 point Rookie* season isn't bad for an 18-19 physical forward playing low avarage minutes.
Marty is doing what he believes is best for Arber and he plays players by their performance and production…note how he has helped Slaf and how he still is working to make him even better. I am so impressed by Marty’s performance to date even though he himself has some development remaining as a head coach.
I am happy with the state of the team and the direction it seems to be in. The talent pool is insane and only lacking a dominant top line forward but ha slots of everything else and a lot of depth and pics to deal to fill the holes we may have including top line dominant forward within the next 2 years when the rebuild should end.
Juraj is playing excellent hockey right now… If he keeps developing like this he’s going to be an unstoppable force on the ice.. I was one of the few fans that wanted Juraj when the Habs got the first overall pick and when the Habs drafted him I kept saying he has point per game potential.. if he keeps developing like this he will be a point per game player, Some scouts have compared him to Valeri Nichushkin, But I believe he will be better than Nichushkin but not as good as Rantanen… it took Nichushkin a long time to have a season like he was having before going into the players assistance program, Juraj will hit his potential around 23-24 years old if he keeps developing like he is now… there will be bumps in the road it’s not gonna be perfect along the way, But by the time he’s 23-24 years old he will have 5-6 years of NHL experience and will most likely be a consistent 75-85 point player… I could be wrong, Lots of things could happen along the way. From what I’m seeing right now I see 75-85 points by the time he’s 23-24 years old… Don’t be shocked I Logan Cooley is a 90-95 point player when he hits his potential because it’s always been known that Cooley has more offensive potential, But that does not mean Cooley will be the better player… Cooley is very one dimensional in his play and he’s not great defensively, Slafkovsky is becoming a GREAT two way player and I would rather have Jurajs defensive game, Size and point potential rather than have a small one dimensional offensive player… Berkly Catton is a player that reminds me of Logan Cooley and Montreal could potentially draft Catton and imagine Berkly Catton, Kirby Dach and Juraj Slafkovsky on a line 🤯🔥… This is why fans need to stop judging the moves Montreal makes when drafting players because you have to look at the big picture and think of what the team is trying to do, 100% Montreal looked at this draft and said “we can trade for a big Centre, Draft a Big power Forward, Draft an elite Two way RD and Grab Catton, Iginla, Connelly or if we are lucky Demidov in 2024”… Now I’m sure they didn’t actually say that lol but I’m sure that was their mindset, Kent Hughes and the Scouts are always looking ahead in my opinion and this is why we can’t get mad like fans did when we took Reinbacher…
Top 5: 1 – Struble rising 2 – Slafkovsky takes a step up 3 – Caufield Overtime winners 4 – Montembault proves himself 5 – The 'deal' for Monohan looking better every game.
Bottom 5: 1 – Dach Injury 2 – Xhekaj takes a step down 3 – Gallagher's elbow 4 – The three goalie system 5 – Coaching
I hate writing that last one because I really like St Louis, and his hockey knowledge far surpasses mine, but I seriously question some decisions like why Evans gets so much icetime during OT, as well as Josh Anderson's ice time and promotion to the first line. (I was also really scraping the bottom of the well for a fifth to fill the bootom five. 😉 )

Lars Eller aka L’Harceleur (Eng: The Harasser) A bit of a meme in the francosphere due to the phonetic similarity in French.
Sĺavkosky is playing great hockey. He's proving a lot of so called experts wrong
He was sent to Llaval because of stupid penalties. He does the same mistakes penalties here.Marty doesn't have favorites

Monty playing really well this year and so glad he signed for 3 more seasons. Solid and reliable !
The Ottawa coach was pointing out Raphael Diaz suicide pass to Eller.
Thank you
Agree with your pics but Marty is going to have Arber second guessing himself instead of bringing his game which is Way better than Barron.
And Slafkovsky belongs on the top line Not Anderson.

Have we had any players score multiple goals in one game this year?? I just thought about it, and i cant remember any. Hope im wrong! lol. That's sad.
Kovacevic’s goal against tampa is number 1

I Think Slaf will be the best player on the team in 3 years.
Slaf’s hockey IQ is impressive!!!
The intial adrenaline with Strible coming up has worn off. He looks pretty 3rd string now.
Sorry Dekes, but that was Raphael Diaz that was hit and disrespected in that series.
Primeau is our second goalie for the next 2 years come on
Primeau will benefit just like Monty did
Slaf.bude ešte lepší, slováci to vedia.🇸🇰👍
