They were not connecting their passes very well tonight. Also, after NYR just embarrassed Ottawa, they were going to try to go hard and bounce back with this game regardless of who they faced.
Crazy that DeBrincat is an All Star. Outside of a few hot goal streaks, he hasn’t been putting the puck in the net which he was brought it to do. Hope he comes back after the break with assertiveness to shoot the puck on net. He needs to be better.

The three days off after Vegas did not help the Wings. The boys came out flat.
