Fuck off. Dudes had a great series and is adjusting to a new coach. This sub loves to cling to a scapegoat when we suck

No one will touch him with a ten foot pole, we are stuck with him

Such a great guy but yeah clear that heā€™s just a bust and will never pan out sadly. that stat line šŸ˜£

The homerism is crazy with how people defend this dude. Regardless of if it was Hynes fault or not like some suggest, heā€™s invisible on the ice for the most part.

Lol not sure why so many ppl are defending Cody heā€™s a good guy but he got his fair shot and hasnā€™t panned out. Done w him after this season.

Im torn on Glass, he has flashes of looking hella talented and I often mistake him for Forsberg on the ice, but he cant seem to get on the stat sheet. Then again nobody can recently. I think we should play him with Nyquist and Forsberg for a bit and see how it goes because thats probably the only real way we can evaluate a center on this team, but I get the impression you’re not interested in entertaining that idea anyway

Edit: I already said this on my other post but wtf are you people down voting comments on this thread because you don’t agree. That’s not the point of the votes, I said nothing “offensive” and my comment is on topic. Quit with this toxic shit

I see Cody is becoming the new Smith for some. Downvote away.

Cody stepped the fuck up last season when our vets went down. Has he had a rough season so far? Yes. But so has literally everybody else on the team at some point. And since he has to clear waivers, I imagine we’re going to see him work out his struggles in the NHL versus someone like Juicy Parsnips.

The kid’s been injured twice this season, and has been open about struggling with confidence. He even said recently how thankful he is for how the organization has been patient and worked with him to get through it. As somebody who has been through that feeling recently, I am and will be team Glasser. Put him between Tommer and one of Evangelista, Novy or Parsy and let them grow and shine together.

ETA: Trotz was on the radio pregame and also mentioned Glass’s struggles, but that he feels he is turning things around the last few games. He also said they have higher long term expectations for him than where he’s at right now, but that they also understand that he maybe hit rock bottom and needs some time to figure it out. He may not be on the stat sheet yet, but you can see he’s working his ass off.

Think we can convince a team interested in Saros to take him as well?

I believe the Cody Glass experiment is over. I wasn’t against taking a shot on him after we wasn’t able to break out in Vegas, but bro is simply not good lol

  10. Why are we aggressively singling out a 24y/o whoā€™s been injured for a large portion of the season? Itā€™s worth noting the kid hasnā€™t had the same coach in the NHL for more than 2 seasons (one of those he played only 8 games in so I wouldnā€™t really count that).

If he was making more money than he is for longer than heā€™s already signed, Iā€™d get the discontent but seems a bit rash given the circumstances.

If you havenā€™t realized Glass isnā€™t going to turn it on by now then damn. He has been given every chance to succeed and he just doesnā€™t have it. Letā€™s move on from him unfortunately
