Before Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Nick Leddy grew into a star defenseman for Eden Prairie High School and the Gophers, his father, Mike, and Mike’s brothers were skating for the Armstrong Falcons.
It’s a Stanley Cup tradition that each member of the championship team gets a day or two with the cup; Nick Leddy brought it to the Twin Cities Thursday and Friday.
Leddy and the Stanley Cup drew large crowds at every stop. It was quite a special week for the hockey-loving Leddy family.
