Facebook hockey takes are so fucking bizarre😂😂

  2. Facebook hockey takes aren’t even bottom of the barrel, they’re underneath the barrel. It’s hard to believe that some of the stuff I see is actually posted by real human beings.

And in today’s edition of “why I haven’t been on Facebook in like two years”

I thought this was sarcasm, but these are real opinions! Wow

  5. Sounds like the conversation I had with my Dad last night. He’s got some wild opinions for someone that has zero clue how contracts and salary caps work.

  6. Facebook flames fans are genuinely some of the biggest mouth breathing, mental deficients, with the most god awful takes possible. You should’ve seen them after Sutter was fired, apparently we had a woke liberal snowflake team who couldn’t handle Sutters “tough love”

  7. I also love how Canucks fans on Twitter were so mad when Hunter didn’t make team USA, talked about him being a future NHL star and best USA defenceman. Now that he is traded suddenly Hunter is super overrated and will never replocate this season, b prospect at best. Also apparently a later first round pick is useless cause I guess stars only come from first 16 picks. The coping is hilarious.

If the flames squeak in and play Vancouver first round would be pretty cool

Armchair GMs are my favourite, only the hottest of takes! 🔥

So it’s the same crowd that calls into the Fan

Sorry kids we ain’t making playoffs this year

The takes that seem to age the worst, regardless of what team they’re talking about, is assuming the GM is an idiot who doesn’t know what he is doing.

Even the worst GM in recent history, Peter Chiarelli, wasn’t as bad as some fans pretend their GM is. Chiarelli’s biggest flaw was he couldn’t negotiate to save his life, probably owns multiple time shares, and was on the losing end of every trade he made.

Conroy seems like a very modern GM. This will likely confuse a lot of fans because he is not playing by the old rulebook. Expect an unusual number of bad takes on his moves, most of which will age like milk.

The last one makes me laugh because it lacks rational and emotional logic entirely.

So they’re mad because we’re going to make a push for playoffs? Or they’re mad we traded Lindholm in pursuit of a push for playoffs? They’re just mad about both making a push for playoffs and that we traded Lindholm? They’re not mand and just got lost, like “What are we all talkin bout?’
