  1. I feel like I would've waited a game or two after the break to see if the break would've helped, because they went into the break with a win, so a positive, they could've built up on that

  2. The only people that don’t like this firing are the other teams fighting the Kings for a playoff spot. Because at least now they have a chance at turning their season around.
And if the Kings miss the playoffs then Blake must be fired too!

  3. I wasn't a fan of the PLD trade but he's not the sole reason they've been struggling. He's shown flashes of how talented he is but still needs to put it all together consistently. That being said, they should have extended Vilardi instead, that's on Blake. I was never a fan of McLellan, he couldn't cut it in SJ or Edmonton even with one of the best duo's in the game.

  4. Rob Blake handcuffed the team with the moves he has made! Todd lost the room awhile ago the lines are all over the place he destroyed Arthur K confidence we needed a switch

  5. Hiller finds out that the Kings have fired Todd McLellan and have made him the coach for the rest of the season: "Das war ein Befehl!"

  6. As a Kings fan this is the right move. I kinda wish they could have made a more decisive move to bring in a new permanent HC. That said, Hiller has been in charge of the PK, which has consistently been the best thing about this team. Hopefully he can push that same execution to other aspects of the team.

  7. Reporting from the scene!…Hope your vacay is holding up. Get ready for rain!…And you thought you left Vancouver for some sunshine!… 😃

  8. BlakeOUT. He ruined this team. Luc has a lot to do with the french connection getting PLD, he has to be part of the blame too. Gallant, Berube, Woodcroft? What is Hiller really going to do?

  9. You are allowed to take a few hours to yourself for vacation lol the news can wait a day. Enjoy yourself.

  10. I thought that the kings could be a top contender. It's strange that they wil be trending in the wrong direction so quickly after a great start, to the point that T-Mac would become the sacrificial lamb. Hopefully LA gets back on track. I remember Hiller from his time working under Barry Trotz with the Islanders.

  11. Blake is to blame. Should have spent the money on a goalie and not PLD. Even if a goalie wasn’t available before the season, you’re approaching prime time buying season now!

  12. I don't blame McClellan solely for their troubles. But he did lose the locker room a bit. I think he is a great Xs and Os guy and can teach great structure but he isn't a great coach at pushing players buttons, a la Sutter, or making in game adjustments. I think other teams have adjusted to how the Kings play as well. Blake is also to blame cause he traded three really good players for PLD, and it's not panning out. But it is interesting, I saw an interview with Tortarella and he said so many mistakes are made in today's game that at some point he just turns a blind eye to it. He says these new players, you can't over coach them or you'll lose them. You have to just at times let them learn as they go and as a coach you try to teach them but not over coach them. So we will see how the team reacts to this cause it now rests on all their shoulders to perform.

  13. Hiring as head coach for remainder of the season a guy with very little success ..resume shows he has been a revolving door assistant hiring and firing..shows LA willing to throw away the season rather than hire coach with proven track record. I have seen this before in LA.

  14. Why Fire The Coach When It More Ought to be Fire The Players.? Why Doesn,t Rob Blake Get Some Sense Put Into His
Fat Head And Start Saying To His Players That He Ought to Fire the Players Not The Coach.

  15. I don’t see how this helps the kings. It seems like it’s a locker room/player issue we’ll see I guess
