  1. The Sean Monahan deal is the best trade I've seen ever. You can say trades like the Tkachuk one I guess but the Habs literally turned future considerations into a guy who played 74 games and scored 52 points, 2 1sts and a 3rd. If those 2 1sts become anything this is a HUGEE win.

  2. i will like to see what you guys will say when Montreal dose not make the play off in 5 years or sooner from now on till then? when we trade good players for fragile players who always seem to get injured easy, that is the record so far, i have been watching this team for 48 years the only time that MTL. was making the play off is when they had no or little injury's that is a surprising fact, i hope i am wrong .

  3. Savard has looked soooooooooo SLOW any scout sees him play they won't want him.If I was another team looking I would go after Kovacevic because it seems MTL does not appreciate Kovacevic or Arber .IMO St.Louis wants to get rid of Arber and management is simply afraid to trade him unless they get good value in return so they can tell the media HEY we got a trade we couldn't refuse.
I just cannot see any manager or assistant showing up to watch Savard wanting him just no way.He skates and moves like he has cement in his skates.

  4. I know I’m reaching but I’m hoping they package a few of these firsts maybe a prospect for the first overall pick this year and unite macklin celebrini and lane Hutson

  5. Why would they retain salary in Monahan? He was not even hitting 2$ million. Plus they cannot retain anymore due to the 2 slots they already have used up for the year.

  6. Trade Pearson, Newhook, Dach, & Barron!! Especially if we can get back anything close to what we gave up for them. All of HuGo's 'big deals' have been a fail.

  7. When you're rebuilding, I understand the importance of turning over players into future assetts, but we can't have a team of kids. Looking at how young our d-core is, I'd like to have Savard around to mentor them…but if he goes, I'm sure we'll get something nice for him.
