Josh Lucas is back to rank the Bears’ defense with our 6 established categories. How many top players does the Bears defense have, how to they compare to teams around the NFL, and what does the list of needs look like this offseason?

Good show! Almost feel like there should be another level on the top. Edward’s and Edmonds on the same level does not tell the story. Totally disagree on Jackson though. I’d hesitate to put him at average.
I feel like there should have been a follow-up question to Josh saying he highly doubts Jaylon Johnson will continue to be a good tackler after he gets his new contract. I realize there's a fairly obvious answer (the man got paid and doesn't want to risk his health), but it would've been nice to hear Josh say more about that.
2 great episodes!
Feelings about Josh Lucas front office personnel guy aside… love these episodes. I hope he continues to make media appearances
Longer episodes=better. No Bears podcast comes close to Hoge and Jahns
holy ads youtube, every 3 minutes
Edwards and Edmonds should switch contracts.
Quality over speed. Short vids are overrated. Long form is fine. Good job again.
This guy is unemployed for a reason.
All the podcasts are great but these episodes with Josh Lucas are can’t miss! Such a good addition!
Dallas Turner……! This guy would definitely improve the Defense and the team as a whole!!
I love that they saw the comment suggesting color coding and they did it. Pretty cool to know that they actually value our feedback.
Commercials are making me wish this show would get over already….and it's a great show.
Man, love every minute of this deep dive, fantastic stuff.
Really enjoyed this series guys. Thanks, and keep up the great work!
Like the premise of the show and the way you break it down but I don’t give Josh much credibility. He was all in with Trubisky and that was bad
Fantastic shows guys, really enjoyed the insight.
Fantastic podcast guys
Josh really adds such awesome insight that’s hard for fans and media people to catch. The Edwards/Edmunds discussion was great – how Edwards’ weaknesses force certain defensive looks and Edmunds had to cover for it. Seems like both played better when Flus figured out how to use his personnel
All I can say is Josh needs more coffee or whatever’s in his cup and I bathroom break. Lol great job guys!!!
Stoked for the Bears corners. I think Tyrique will pop this year and become a big problem for opposing QBs.
Listen, man. I know you drafted Eddie, but holy shit that dude needs to go. The 2nd highest contract on the team and he underperforms. The dude needs to go. He got paid and turned into trash. Much like Trubisky over Mahomes, you made the wrong choice.
Putting Eddie Jackson on the same shelf as Edwards, Stevenson, and Gordon is comical. I like all the other takes, but Jesus is this dudes bias showing through. He drafted him so of course he thinks he is good, but a safety that doesnt/cant tackle isn't worth a shit when there are players like Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Jordan Poyer out there who can do both. I still dont understand why we all go to the guy who took Trubisky over Mahomes for his positional value evaluations. 😂😂😂
Josh lucas shows ate cool… but man.. he really TRUSTs his evaluations above all else lol
I’m glad yall like Lucas but it’s hard for me to take him seriously since he presided over some bad teams….with players he may have helped acquire…
I feel like there's no way Josh believes what he says about Bojack lol but I guess when you played part in drafting him you don't know how to keep it real. Dudes trippin. His play has fallen off tremendously. Don't lie
Love these episodes with Josh Lucas. I can listen to him talk ball all day. 🐻🔽
Help me understand. Josh Lucas famous for picking Trubisky over Mahomes and Watson. But Hoge and James platform this guy as some kind of expert on college talent?
BoJack is in the MOVE ON category!! Can't/WON'T tackle!!!
You know I wish sometimes they would actually go in depth in these guys and explain why these guys are having trouble adjusting for example Dexter he was more highly touted coming out of high school then Jalen Carter was it was his bad luck that Florida went from a 4-3 defense his freshman year to a two Gap system it took him about half the year to to train out of that to one Gap react and got two and a half sacks in like eight games. Also, they might pick up a value DT in the draft, but they'll focus on Edge, give last year's rookies a chance to shine
