What’s that like three on three from the energy standpoint doing it for two games uh second game was uh a little difficult sat around for an hour just waiting but um yeah no excuses uh a good game what do you think about getting a chance to
Play the second game you guys were dead in the water and suddenly you weren’t yeah uh think I read MC on the team first game and he uh clutched it so um was I mean it’s a great weekend um the game doesn’t really matter honestly it’s just spending time with family friends
And um especially Toronto has done a great job so um I’ve had an unreal experience you never really are going to get the chance most times to play with McDavid and Rise idle what was that like to be on their team yeah I think I had
Like uh maybe 10 seconds on with him so I can’t really speak on that but um yeah it’s you can really see how much skill he has and um how good guy uh good guy he yeah he’s he’s a special guy what was it like be the ice with Sam it was fun
Uh we had a lot of chances couldn’t uh score today um yeah I had a lot of fun uh he’s uh we talked to a lot about memories and stuff too so um it was nice catching up with him are you going to take some grief in
The locker room for getting blocked by Tom Wilson yeah I was I was a little bit worried about it but uh he was all good um um he was here to win he said so it was a great BL you’ve done these before obviously what will stick out when you look back
On this this weekend you think um unreal experience uh with the family and friends spent a lot of time with him um and then Toronto overall it’s been it’s been unbelievable it’s it’s the next level here in this city uh all the fans all the setups it’s uh it’s
Been a really cool uh three days here what’s your reaction to the news on the Olympics NHL’s finally going yeah uh for me it’s like finally um we’ve been waiting uh for this news and family it’s coming um so I can’t wait that for nation tournament start off there um and
In Olympics here in a few years so um I’m just going to have to play some good hockey so I can make that team what what was your reaction when you found out about the four Nation tournament that was kind of the surprise announcement
Yeah uh I like it um they did the best of what they had um and we have a chance to play on uh play international hockey uh so I’m very happy that Sweden is in and um it’s a good start off um to get especially our team together and um we haven’t
Played together uh ever so it’s good to have a tournament tournaments like that where it’s going to be in the middle of the Season how’s it that going to you know I know you haven’t been a part of that yet but how’s that going to be to
To go from like playing regular season games to being like Oh Boy now this is like going for gold medals yeah it’s something new for me um but I’m I’m just super happy it’s going to happen sometimes it’s nice to have a break play with different players uh
Refresh your mind and um you learn a lot from playing with the best Swedish uh players um so it’s it’s all positive somebody asked you about playing with Sam today no it just happened okay it was fun what was it like to get back with him again it was it was really good
We sat next to each other in the locker room and um we uh talked a lot about memories and um he’s he’s such a good player and I’m very happy for his his success and um he’s just a great guy so it was it was nice catching up with him
Trying to do that Al pass for him to to Spring him there in the first game uh uh yeah that was that was funny um yeah we had we had fun out there your Geographic Rivals to the the Leafs I mean but the fact that they had so many Allstar here
And you know really had a lot of fun at the weekend and just being in the city I mean how much can you appreciate what they’re going through and how how much fun this has been for them yeah um we gave uh the fans what they wanted right
So I’m very happy uh they won it um I mean Toronto mes have done an unbelievable job here uh for this Allstar um it’s just such a cool experience and have that many Maple players here and they able to win with Justin Bieber here
And stuff it’s um it’s cool to be a part of it was like to have elas and and Jasper here sorry having Elias and Jesper here to play to to have here this weekend what was it like to have those guys here yeah it’s it’s awesome uh like I said we
Uh we haven’t played with each other um and me and jper haven’t been playing since World Junior so it’s it’s been a long time and it’s nice to uh come together and U talk about your own experience and stuff so it’s nice hanging out with the Swedish guys do that very often
