  1. They need to stop trading away draft picks, so that’s not a bad thing. We need to build the team stronger through free agency and bringing up players through the pipeline. There is not one player worth the first round draft pick available at the deadline For this team they’re just isn’t.., New York Rangers always fall for the trade deadline acquisitions and have not won a Stanley Cup since 1994 that I personally feel handcuffed the teams ability to win multiple championships by trading away and giving up on assets just to win one.. this team has an opportunity to build a team for the future one that could result in multiple championships if we stay the course… if there was somebody worth giving up assets for that was going to be more than a rental, it would be Hanafin and only if he signed an extension if that doesn’t happen realistically the Rangers should do very little at the deadline… free agency next year will be key. The Rangers acquired Patrick, Kane and Tarasenko and we’re booted in the first round. Sometimes the best play is not doing anything at all.

  2. I agree, not sold on this team being a true contender unless things dramatically change. The only 2 ways I would give up this year 1st rd pick is if they acquired a significant caliber player with term or if the Drury made it a conditional 1st rd pick. For example, we give our 1st rd pick up if they reach the Stanley Cup finals.

  3. Great Video, as usual, Evan. I don't know if you said it, but, I don't think that I heard you say what I heard, that, Solan wants The Rangers to be represented at The Draft, because it's going to be held at A Venue, In Dallas TX, that Dolan Owns. Let me know what you think

  4. Igor and Mika aren’t having great years. Not enough chipping in from the bottom two lines. They could use a bit more size/physical on their D. We don’t control the front of our net all that well. To me we need two/three additions to really have a shot going all the way and that’s no guarantee either. I’m against moving our 1st and yeah I want us to draft a D all things more or less being even.
