Gotta be Toronto right? Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg seem set. And I can’t imagine a non-playoff team would trade for him at this point?

  2. Woll out for the foreseeable future when they mentioned he could return after asg break, maybe Toronto?

I think Edmonton makes the most sense to mentor Skinner and take some games off of him and get him ready for the playoffs or if he drops his play in the playoffs to step in. The Leafs have Sammy who’s playing well, who outshined Vasy in the playoffs last year, and Woll coming back who is their future

I can’t find any evidence of this. As far as I know, the Wild haven’t said they will be sellers as of right now.

If it’s frank serravelli or Elliot Friedman reporting it, guaranteed they claim Toronto. Everyone is going to Toronto.

  6. The Canadian Government has acquired the State of Minnesota in exchange for Future Considerations. /s

The way they give fans little hints is the most annoying ishh ever

Whoooo could it beeee? Believe it or not I’m not hoooooome.

I doubt this is true. He likes it here and he doesn’t want to move his family in the middle of the season. He’d have to agree to waive his NTC and I don’t think he will. Don’t want him to leave either, honestly. Flower has been a bright spot in a shitty year. Love that guy.

Gotta be the Oilers, I don’t think could stomach Flower in Leafs gear.

Be pretty crazy if he goes to Edmonton

  12. What a glorious day for Canada, and therefore, the world.

  13. NefCanuck

If the Leafs somehow land him, I’m buying lottery tickets because goddamn that would be the jackpot

Doubt it’s true. The Wild aren’t sellers yet. He could get traded, but it would only be if the Wild aren’t in contention closer to the deadline and he wants to make a cup run.

  15. They leave a letter out and that “Canadian?” We could use another goalie so bad

I hope it’s Edmonton. And I say that as a Canucks fan who would just love to see what that combo of talent in Edmonton could do.

Let’s not make a trade until after the Pens game this week.

  18. sinosijaek

if he comes to edmonton i’d have his jersey ordered within seconds

It would have to be Vancouver, after they acquired Lindholm, there were interviews and hints that there were “other” moves they were going to make.

Fleury is God awful in the playoffs. I don’t see why anyone would want him on their team.

  21. CPT_Splat

I’m going to Flower celebration night at the X on Friday against the Pens. I hope he’s still on our team!

  22. SpaghettiViking

Plot twist: it’s the Quebec Nordiques. Flower is coming to Colorado.

They say a Canadian team, but what they really meant is he’s being convinced to move by a Canadian player. That player is MacKinnon, and he’s coming to the Avs.

How the logistics of this will work… no fucking idea.
