I keep coming back to Staios saying the market will dictate what he does at the deadline. So I think whether Vladdy gets dealt depends on the return. And if it's not enough you lock him up to another couple years.

I think that the Greig-Pinto-Tarasenko would be the best 3rd line in the NHL. Greig and Pinto are both great 2 way players, and Tarasenko is a great goal scorer. Greig leads the team with +15 while Tarasenko is second with +11

I love Tarasenko but the Team needs to look forward. I say trade and get comething GOOD for him…AFTER they whup Toronto's fat ass tomorrow!!! I hope that Jacques structure and systems click in…you know his system is working, everytime the goaltenders record a .930 Sv%. Compared to the lousy coach who was let go, the new coaching staff have a .447 winning percentage ( same as the previous regime) and have the League's 3rd worst GA%. You got to love Systems that can't be articulated and harder to implement and structure that supports…supports…what is structure and what does it support?
Going on a run would do nothing for the Sens. This season is a lost. Get a top pick. Rest Sanderson, Stutzle or anyone else. Trade Tarasenko, Giroux if he wants to waive (and retain some $ for max value). This should be the game plan. I'm good with keeping giroux but no point for going on a f'in run! It's short sited if you want a cup chance one day
Leafs are bound for a 1st round exit. They don't have the goaltending or defense, and their star players dissappear. Doesn't matter how much Matthews scores in the regular season, I'd rather have Tkachuk on my team everyday of the week.
I'd like to see Tarasenko stick around but I can't see him taking any kind of discount. He needs term and $$$ as this is his last chance for a nice hefty contract
