Why did Pickard have to be great tonight? Because coming off a 16 game winning streak while playing some of the best defence in decades, the excellent coaching staff decided we needed to change up every defensive pairing. It only cost us 2 pk goals and had us scrambling in our own end all night. That’s a self inflicted wound. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
McD great but team on ave was a bit below the Ducks (30th ranked team)… A lot of guys have a natural desire to relax and not really fight for battles, defense etc….. so coach has to really keep on them every single week
