Now myself personally, I don’t have a problem with what the Sens did. They earned the W, they can hot dog all they want. But the majority of the NHL doesn’t take that stance, everyone who plays hockey at an organized level knows that. Hot dogging will bait scrums and violence. Don’t like it? Take it up with the league.
That aside, the Leafs are:

1-2 vs the Blue Jackets
1-2 vs the Sabres with two more games to go
0-2 vs the Blackhawks
For a sterling record of 3-9 vs the 4 of the 6 worst teams in the league (we’re undefeated against the Sharks and Ducks). Games like these are why I do not why Treliving to be trading away futures at the deadline. This team is just not good enough to justify long term assets being dumped for short term solutions. The only trades I want to be seeing from Treliving are trades for guys with multiple years of control left and are still relatively young so they fit the timeline. Other than that, just makes the post season and pray for a horseshoe.
Mo went too far and deserves to get suspended for the recklessness of that play, and I’d be a hypocrite if I took any other position.
