Ridiculous suspension. Even the 5 minute penalty was excessive.
I’ll get downvoted for this, but we need to look at this objectively, and not from red-tinted glasses. This wasn’t worthy of a suspension.

I may be in the minority here, but I didn’t think it was that bad. It seemed like the main point of contact was lower, like chest/shoulder.

Should have been 3 games, letting him come back first game against the wings again is pathetic, I’m sure nhl does it for the ratings and wants a fight, but player safety wise it’s a bad move
