  1. Happy birthday Shannon. Great to see the Oilers back to winning ways, credit to the Ducks, they played well. Evander Kane with a hatty!

  2. Too bad offspring are total sellouts to the establishment now lol. A lot of bands are following this trend. Thanks Wild for swiping points away from the Pens.

  3. Penguins got screwed on that third goal by the wild. Puck was clearly in the net and should have been a stoppage.

  4. Happy Birthday, Shannon! Busy Saturday hockey time 13 games to track and account for is your number! 🙃🎯🏒🥅🎂🎹🛣️✨

  5. Rough start to that game for the Oilers. That Kane Draisaitl Perry line is going to be so hated but so effective

  6. All right I'm saying it right now the penguins are not going to make the playoffs again this season! Pathetic effort Penguins need to make trades now

  7. Probably a lot of Oilers fans at that game because they bought tickets thinking it could be the night the Oilers broke the winning streak record (if Oilers had won against Vegas),

  8. Hello Puckheads!
Thanks to the Wild many of us went 2-1 including me !
    @cnsmith0719 and @jeffa.7618 correctly picked MIN and were a perfect 3-0 😊
My overall sits at 421-329-53 currently.

  9. Many happy returns for the Hockey guy!
The 4-3 Rangers OT win over the Blackhawks should make me feel good but it doesn’t. Something isn’t quite right with the 1st line. Last season Lafreniere was played on 1st line with Zibanejad and Kreider and couldn’t get any consistency. Conversely Kakko played with the 2nd line and had a break out season. This season Kakko just can’t get any consistency alongside Kreider and Mika but Lafreniere is having a solid season with the 2nd line. The Rangers have to solve the problem at RW on the 1st line. Otherwise they’ll never move forward

  10. Long post follows with base game statistics including some for the Anaheim Ducks. Read, don't read, up to you. These are BASE stats not detailed ones. My comments at the end.

Oilers Win. They didn't score first, it was tied 2-2 at the end of the second, Strome got a PP goal to start off the third then 3 by the Oilers for a 5-3 win. First the PK completely failed letting in both PP chances the Ducks got. The PP got 1 of those back but missed on the other. In fairness I couldn't watch the game due to the time (I'm medical and that limits what I can do) but did catch the highlights. The PP goal from Draisaitl (one timer from his spot with a great seam pass by McDavid) was wonderful. Kane getting a hattie was great. The Defense was not great. Return the pairings please, this didn't go well. Nice to see DR, Kulak, and Perry getting assists (now some goals would be better but DR wanted Kane to get the hattie as did McDavid so…). Stats wise other than Anaheim hitting more and the Oilers with more giveaways it was close. Take care all.

  11. Nhl seriously needs to change the review system, 30 seconds to initiate challenge and refs have 1 minute to conclusively see evidence, still a minor and you lose the timeout. If a stop is challenged for being a good goal Toronto can review it and find it mid play I’m tired of 7+ minutes of looking at 2 guys cuddle around iPads

  12. Rangers almost blew it, thanks Igor.
When will they learn he needs to see the bench!!!!
I’d even trade him to a bottom fender for a 1st and prospect.

  13. This is the only loss that I don’t mind the Penguins losing. I am just happy that Fleury won. Congrats Flower! Enjoy your night! I’ll see you in Hockey Hall of Fame!

  14. Shesty gave up 1 goal he should have stopped, other 3….1 he had no shot at stopping, double screen and the other 2 were on GUS,also known as the human traffic cone

  15. My wife jinxed the Ducks at start of the 3rd, walked in the door and says no way the ducks can beat Edmonton. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

  16. If anyone is openly wondering if Knaubloch would be considered for the Jack Adams, this one game took him out of the running. If he was ever in the running. The Oilers D looked out of place all night. Routine puck clears looked like fire drills that resulted in turn overs. Why? 10,000% because of the coach. Every defensive pairing was thrown in the blender before game start. The only reason the Oilers started to takr over in the second half of P2, is because he put Bouchard and Eckholm back together and had them play 50% of the minutes for the rest of the game.
