Hope he has no issues reporting to Hartford, he’d be useful there. Probably would be a black ace come playoffs also.

He hasn’t been bad, still find it a really weird move. After the entire season they drop him and call up Edstrom who’s played 2 games?

Well the good thing is he’s at Hartford, so can be called up if needed. Definitely isn’t a top tier player but knows NYR and will be a good asset in Hartford. But we’re in trade/acquire crunch time so I get the decision needed to be made

I guess if he cleared waivers there really isn’t any demand for him? Hopefully he accepts the assignment and we have some good depth in the AHL. I like Edstrom but it’s a weird move to call him up over Pitlick unless there is some beneficial cap savings I’m missing out on.
