the team has finally got to a point where you can name someone and that person isn't going to be the fall guy for the lack of success of the entire franchise.

His level of leadership & play pre-injuries would have made him the most logical choice to replace Giroux at that time. I think they waited to see how he healed up after those surgeries. In the meantime, Laughton has been outstanding & should retain the 'A'. TK is worthy of the other, but I would like to see a D-man there, but York or Sanhiem need to assert themselves to get my vote.
He Will be a good Captain 👍🏒
