Hey…Habs, be happy you have Slaf ! It was so many critics for him ! Remember I said just after the entry draft in 2022 that this guy will push the MTL to win the Stanley Cup ! Only give him some time to get stronger 2-3 years. Be patient, right ? And of course thanks to Suzuki and Coufield for helping him

caufield speed was good yesterday. I think we were trying a bit more because the ducks are a bad team but we should be trying like that every game. all about confidence.
As of right now , the rebuild is done , 36 picks in the last 3 years and already 23 for the next two season including 4 x 1st rounders , that’s the most picks over a 5 years period as any team has ever had in the history of the nhl
Our goalie depth goes like this Primeau, Dobes , Fowler, kaskisuo, miller and our future number 1 goalie, Yevgeni Volokin . That’s a lot of goalie prospects and montembault is signed for 3 more years ..
Next defense , struble , xhekaj, Harris, Guhle, engstrom, Hutson , Mailloux, Nurmi, Trudeau , kovacevik norlinder , Konyushkov , Barron and reinbacher , thats 14 defensemen that all could be nhl ready as soon as next year , 14! And all under 24 years old AND that’s not including Savard and matheson
So what’s left to do? The have have plenty of picks and goalies and too many defensemen , way way way too many defensemen , that’s probably the most depth and more promising defense in NhL history . So the only aspect to tune up is obviously offense, the habs habs plenty of 3rd and 4 liners and lot of potential as depth players like xhekaj , Mesar , beck ect but they have nothing in the system in term of legit first and 2nd line players , they have a decent first line and newhook and Dach but they need two more legit talented and established experienced players, that’s the only thing left to do to take the habs from pretenders to contenders. But drafting those type of players will take to long to develop them so they can match the windows of the prospects already in place and match their age window, so those players will have to be aquire through trades
The only logical thing left to do, is get rid of dead wood and package some of those picks and prospects to aquire star players, that’s why I think that zegras trade would make a lot of sense as the habs can afford to trade prospects and will actually be forced to do so.
My prediction is that Ken Hugues will make huge trade before next season and hopefully get rid of dvorak, Anderson and Gallagher which could free up 16.5 millions off the cap

I hope MSL learned that you do not put Slafzila in front of the net at PP. Those first 2 PP were not good.
Slaf has nice 3 points, but he was not too far from hattrick! I bet we will see him have one until end of this season!
I wish for Cole to score some more goals, maybe he is saving it for clutch situations in harder matchups.
Primeau and Cogniac, you just have to be happy for those guys too.
Once again you want them to TANK it hard, but cant be mad on them for playing this good.
So …we have 1 line..!! Now ..Hughes has to trade / draft ANOTHER TOP LINE !! THEN ..we can add to THAT core and in 2 yrs. DOMINATE other teams !!! Also showcase our big body DEFENSE !! We also need a REAL #1 STARTER ..!! MONTY is good for a backup ..!! But …A Beast in net still needs to be found …CUPS TO FOLLOW !!! 😊😊😊
as a true slafkovsky h8er I have to admit his skating got improved a lot, now he is over skating most of players that engage him
if this continue to be improved then he is gonna be a real issue near boards

People, be aware that at the age of 18, Juraj left home to live almost halfway across the globe from his family to a city where he did not know the main language, had no home or friends, and overnight became a rock star from whom almost everyone expects miracles. He had to get used not only to a smaller ice rink and a different style of hockey, but also to the fact that tickets for his events were bought by people who expected a local rock star who they know everything about, and he has a concert 2-3 times a week and every time he has to give a satisfactory experience, that's a lot of pressure, I personally wanted him to go to a team where he would have space to grow, but maybe it's a good thing in that even if he didn't score, he wanted to be a contribution to the team and learned to better use different aspects of his game, such as defense, taking the puck, playing with his body… he can still improve in his positional play when defending, where he sometimes covers the space that is already covered by his teammate and does not try to take the puck away from the opponent. he has already shown that he is talented in many things, but for me it is much more important that he showed himself as a training worker with a great desire to constantly improve. he loves this game. Habs fans, if you have him there, support him ❤under all conditions, otherwise you are going against your club

Suzuki IS the sauce! People hating on Nick cause he's so damn good, if Pavel Datsyuk never existed, Nick would be the magic man, we'd call his shootout goals suzukian goals, people hating on Slafkovsky cause he's the Slava Bull, you just can't stop this kid 😂. If McJesus was playing for the habs, everyone would say he's too soft, doesn't play solid defensively and would be a 3rd line centre on a cup contender.
