Hi I’m Chris creger president and co-founder of Western New York Heroes most Sabers fans know us through our positive for Heroes program this is our third year training a Sabers team dog the service dogs are for veterans who are medically referred to our program through the VA Hospital the team

Dogs are trained all year round obviously to be the team mascot but at the end of the season we pick a lucky veteran that’s on our waiting list to receive the dog at one of the games so this season we have blue and we will be looking to partner her up with a

The Buffalo Sabres partner with Pawsitive For Heroes each season to sponsor a pup’s training, otherwise known as the “team dog.”
