Preds when playing at home for the last few seasons: “Get ya free 2 points here!”
Haven’t fully watched the last 2 games (I know, shame on me), but holy fuck. Some dark days are ahead of us I’m afraid. Not sure how you can follow up a loss in which the opponent (who was on the 2nd game of a back-to-back) dominated you, and then you come out and get outshot 18-1 in the first period and trail 0-4 after 20 against your division rival.
If you can’t get up for that, I don’t know what to say. I can’t even begin to imagine what’s going on behind the scenes in the locker room, with the coaching staff, and with upper management. I’ve always been too stupid to get sucked in when they win, but I should’ve looked at this logically. It’s obviously been time to sell for a very long time.
I didn’t wanna say it, I’ve been holding out. It’s time for a fire sale. My emotions haven’t let me desire a rebuild, but now I’m willing to let go of anybody. Because I want to see our core win a cup. It’s not gonna be here.
I’m usually annoyed when we lose a game, but I was genuinely laughing by the end of this one. It was a nice change of pace.

After the game today, he says he’s disappointed and the team isn’t listening? Sounds to me like he may have lost the locker room??
