I’ll be honest I was taken aback by how bummed it made me when he went down. Wheels has been an awesome veteran presence on this team all season and will be sorely missed. _/ _/

Feel terrible for him. Dude gave everything he had and his teammates clearly love him. You could see how deflated they looked after the injury until the end of the period. Legit hope Trouba gave a big speech in 1st intermission about “winning it for Wheels” during which Kreider and Zib both knowingly looked at each other and nodded before unleashing fury on those fake-bagel ass Canadians. Hope he recovers and comes back!

The guy took a lot of undeserved harsh criticism from fans this year. I was looking forward to having that type of player down the stretch and into the playoffs. He looked energized after the All-star break too. He will be missed. Next man up!
