It’s insane how much stock they put into that All-Star skills comp. “X player is better at jumping through hoops like a trained dog, so that makes them better at hockey”

Lmao at Avs fan in the comment section is truly deranged

Nikita is fun to watch at a distance. When it comes to fan and media interaction, he would probably rather use sandpaper to wipe with. Just who the guy is. He’s in this Maus Nissan commercial that airs every game, and he looks just looks so uncomfortable. His only line is “That’s right David (think that’s the guy’s name)”.

I wonder if it’s just a different demographic but everyone loved marshawn lynch for saying, “im just here so I don’t get fined.” I’m kind of wondering why so many people look at kuch differently.

I love this and don’t understand how it pisses people off. Those mid game and post game press conferences/interviews are always so dumb imo.

As a life long hockey fan and Lightning fan since ’99, it seems like the questions players get haven’t changed all that much and the stock responses haven’t either. As an elite player who works hard to maintain his skills, Kuch just doesn’t care to entertain mediocre questions. I have the utmost respect for the dude, but he will never be the happy-go-lucky Panarin or Pastrňák type. He will continue to be the guy who lets the scoreboard do the talking.

/r/hockey is full of so many idiots. I guarantee if Kucherov had answer with something like “yea, I get excited to play against someone like MacKinnon”, that sub would accuse him of admitting to not playing hard against other teams and only chasing stats.
Fucking morons.

Honestly I think that’s why Kuch didn’t shoot his last shot on the EN he was just trying to get off the ice and go home. If he scored the hat trick that’s 5 more minutes of the ice crew picking up hats.

Good to see Toronto is still absolutely raw. LMAO.

One of my favorite athletes of all time is Marshawn Lynch. Kuch reminds me so much of him

Wait, people actually still browse /r/NHL?
Take every braindead take from /r/hockey, subtract the fun nonsense, and you get /r/NHL. Why would you subject yourself to that?
