  1. Agreed Brandon, Sanderson is a welcome return. The Sens have 3 great lines and should score MANY PPGs. I like Chick's offence BUT….

  2. Guys there’s no concerns about Timmy – when the team is playing terrible overall, Timmy tries to do too much. The last 10 games Stutzle has made a ton of ace plays, a ton of defensive plays and ton of great offensive plays. There is no problem with Stutzle, the team makeup here is just not supporting him enough and he’s 22 (or 21?) years old and often times the opposition is entirely focused on him because they aren’t worried in the slightest about anyone else. You think other teams see Batherson and Norris as a threat? They think these guys are a joke.

  3. Chabby had a good game. The last 5 or so games he has been great and not getting enough credit. I’ve been on the trade him train but if he can consistently play like he has he is living up to the contract. Also I think we have been giving G a bit of a pass. Maybe I’m crazy but I’ve been at all the home game and the last couple game he has not been great. I wouldn’t say he has been bad he is still getting points but he has not been anywhere near his best

  4. JM has been able to reach Brady and has got his PM issues under control–like this is an entirely different, mature, player now–and I just hope he can reach Timmy too. You guys are right, without his A game Stutzle becomes emotional and falls apart, like he doesn't know how to play unless its highlight reel, which is incredibly hard to maintain night after night against wildly different teams, but I think the onus is little bit on management here too. JM has shown he has no problem benching bottom six guys who he feels aren't playing the right way and I think Timmy has earned a timeout every once and while. Nothing serious like 0 minutes in the third but give him a few shifts to watch the game and cool off while JM is in his ear about a simple assignment he can do get his head back into the game at hand. I don't want Timmy to stop doing his thing out there, that's not the goal, but we need something to stop the spirals.

Completely disagree with y'all on Chycky last night though, what game were you watching? Chyck was the only one to do something in 2nd, finally generating any kind of offence or energy in a game full of uninvolved and invisible senators. The pass you guys give to players like Batherson, who couldn't do more than change lines after completing his one (1) contractual shot per game, while simultaneously dumping on players who were actively trying to make a difference in the game… like we didn't have a break down in defense last night we had NEGATIVE offense, lol.

I think no one wanted to be the guy that brought the streak to an end so the team "shrunk." I don't think there's little pieces we can move when the Senator's Stink is still in the air and circling big contracts like Chabot's–how is he still allowed on the PP1 after yet another terrible drop pass zone entry–but I don't think the answer is yeeting those guys either. This is the climb, that they have to do, out of the whole they dug. Any player coming into the team is just going to be joining the team that good hockey goes to die at. If there is no identity in games with teams like the Ducks than the thing they should be playing for is getting out of the gutter. The senators spent the majority of a period last night chasing line changes as if their only job was shuffling seats on a bench. They can win when they're down, they can stay in the game when they're behind, but this team hasn't figured out how to play when they're uninterested.

  5. I think we need more confidence outta JBD. He needs to be better with and away from the puck. If he gets the chance he’s got to produce.

  6. It was a brutal game. Stutzle has been brutal. I get that slow times happen but this has been too long compared to where he was at last year. He is suppose to be a professional and able to over come these times. He always seems to be falling but he turns over the puck a lot. Then there is Chabot. We need to trade him. He isn’t worth the money.

  7. Not Korpi's best game but the Sens scored 1 goal, even if he played lights out that game is a loss. No point complaining about the goaltending in that one.

  8. Think somethings up with Chychrun right now, that random helmet give the other night and him not looking like himself out there.

  9. Lmao when you guys were talking about Stutzle I was about to write the same kind of thing I commented on the postcast but then you brought it up, thanks for the shoutout.

As soon as I saw that moment in the mic'd up video where Joseph said he didn't think Timmy was going to pass to him, I immediately thought of Devon Toews' comments earlier in the year. Makes me wonder how many guys on the team feel like they don't know what their teammates are going to do when they're on the ice together because it would explain a lot. Bit of a different situation though on an inexperienced team with a new coach, I guess its to be expected to an extent.

  10. They have now reached the game/road heavy portion of the schedule. 21 of the final 32 games are on the road in the next 60 days. Including 3 games in California, 4 games in the state of Florida, and 2 games in Boston.

  11. Top priority is to fix the goaltending. 5 goals on 20 shots???…. A goalie with an above .900 goals against keeps your team in the game until the skaters can get going. It's a no brainer for the Sens. Goalie Goalie Goalie….. There are 5 goalies in their organization. From this point forward they should consider the rest of the season as a goalie training camp/tryout. The best 2 of the 5 play in the bigs

  12. I will guess they will keep chychrun cause they know he will eventually be hurt, lowering his value. Hes being careful this year but next year he wont be able to be careful on sens (contract year). He may become rather cheap if they sign him next year if hes injured.
