As a NJ Devils fan, even though I'm against the idea of letting go of our great prospects, I can say that a Roman Josi + Juuse Saros deal does sound amazing…. Making the Swiss connection even stronger! The price is so so high though, a trade for Jake Allen + one of the many D from MTL could be affordable and still might save the season

I know oiler fans will probably roast me, But I think skinner plus futures church could get saros. I think skinner will be a good one a one b type goalie But I feel saros Could make the difference in the series and and cover up some of the teams lack of depth

In my opinion as a predators fan we haven’t really done that bad this year it’s really are goaltending saros hasn’t really been sharp. And we need more offense. Like the guys that contribute are really only foresburg and Josi. That’s really not that much. If we traded saros though I would suppose maybe for a high prospect and a first round pick and 2 second round picks. Plus two saros is really underrated. Without him I don’t know where the predators would be. If he goes to a contending team I think he has a chance at winning the cup. Plus we have our young goaltender askarov who we drafted 11 overall in the 2020 nhl draft. He’s still growing in the ahl to one day to mature up to the nhl

Any Guentzel Trade should include conditional picks based on how many regular season / playoff games he plays.

A lot of people may not agree with me and I may find it hard to say it myself, but if the charges were dropped then he’s innocent until proven guilty and he wasn’t proven guilty, so let him play. Doesn’t matter which team he plays with, let him play.
if detroit loses to calgalry and seattle i can see steve pulling the plug like last year id like for my wings to make the playoffs but if they do theyll be lucky if they arent swept

I think Fleury and Guerin already have an arrangement… It makes no sense for Fleury to stay there at 39 if literally any playoff team wants him. I think Fleury is saying that out loud to keep his teammates motivated… I see all the comments 'oh Fleury just wants stability',… what are you guys, 12? He is a professional athlete who is inches away from retiring. If he wants stability, retire. The only thing left for him to do is maybe get another cup, period.
And, for those in the know, Lucic's wife is used to it. How do you think he got so good at punching? The NHL gives as many shits about players beating their wives as the NFL. None.
Its hard with Lucic. Once I saw a couple fighting light crazy.. an old woman beside me was suggesting we do something about it… "Sorry ma'am.. if we get involved – I am likely the one in the back of the cop car while they are making out on the ground when it is over." Crazy word sometimes. I feel like maybe let him retire and move on.
I imagine the nhl will want to do an independent investigation on Lucic before making a decision and I could see that turning some stuff up
