  1. Rather not move Jt. Miller unless a big overpay sich as: JT.M at 50% retained and extended to NJD for 2nd OA, Zacha's rights and Severson

  2. Guess who shopped their first round pick last year……The NJ Devils. Fitzgerald is that flirty girl who likes all the attention but doesn't put out. Doesn't really mean anything. Juraj is headed to NJ to meet the with the team. Slafkovsky is going to be suiting up in red and black.

  3. I don’t see a trade 1 for 1 2OA pick for Miller being accepted by either team. Miller would be really good on the devils but Slaf fits the timeline better and Miller would probobly be really expensive to resign

  4. Ya no way devils take Miller. Fitzgerald only wants guys 25 or younger . The only trade id make is for quinn hughes or Petterson. Miller is about to be 30 and only has 1 year left . And you can't compare slafvkosky to others like kakko. Slafvkosky was on the 4th line till the Olympics with like 4 mins a game. After he was given 2nd line and 12 mins a game and his points went up. The more you give slafvkosky time the more he produces . Keep the pic nj and take slafvkosky.

  5. It will take so many what ifs for Slafkovsky to be drafted by the Canucks, moved to center, and develop into what they wanted him to be… I think it is just a smoke screen – Canucks brass just doing their due diligence in talking to all top prospects so when other teams call about Miller they would be prepared. I think we will actually be surprised of the package when Miller is traded as it will probably come out of nowhere.

  6. the devils aren’t trading #2 for miller, he has no term and would just cost the devils $ to keep him around it makes no sense, they’ll prob just keep pick and take Slaf

  7. The Canucks talking to him doesn’t mean anything, Every team in the top 20 interviews each player it’s what to scouting combine is literally for

  8. On July 7, during the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, the Devils will trade Pavel Zacha, prospects Alexander Holtz and Shakir Mukhamadulin and the 2nd pick to the Sabres for Owen Power.

  9. So wait and extend miller or lose him for nothing but a compensatory pick losing a year waiting on development of at least a couple players with development via trade? 2nd overall and a young roster player with high end potential makes sense (for Canucks) just Miller's age cap hit the consideration. Dangle the 99 pts guy, see who steps up. In the end it's who mgnt likes..duh. oh well, the draft, only fun we have now for canucks fans..This could turn out awesome though. We could use a win after so many years with riding salary dumps and teams feasting on our need to win willing to part with draft picks. Jersey could use Miller and has the assets. Who wouldn't want him? The cap dictates.

  10. to me it feels like JR and PA being extra studious with their options, being like hey, IF we trade up in the draft, IF you're the best player available at said spot, are you able to fill in this POTENTIAL role IF we need it filled?

  11. Wished Benning was fired a year earlier and we’d have $12 mil or more without Poolman/Hamonic UFA signings. Then we’d tank and win the lottery like NJD did.

  12. Some say that JT Miller isn't worth a second overall pick. How is a weak draft where the possibility a player might not pan out not be worth Miller. Thoughts? Video worthy topic?

  13. If it is Slafkovsky, sounds like another Podkozen. He had limited league play/stats but showed up during international tournaments. But Pods was drafted No.10.

  14. Just because they asked this to Slafkovsky doesn't mean they'll take him if they have the number 2. If anything, the Canucks will probably take the natural centers Shane Wright or Logan Cooley.

  15. It will be interesting to see what happens. Makes no sense to turn him into a center. Every team has 8 wingers and 4 centers. What the player himself wants dosent matter in the draft but Slafkovsky spoke more of Montreal more than anyone. Seems that's where he has his eye. Caulfield/Suzuki is very attractive to him. He said it with his own mouth. That changes nothing but it very interesting.

  16. As a Devils fan, there's absolutely no player on the Canucks that I would involve trading #2 for. Nucks fans want to trade Miller or Boeser or Garland – that's fine if we're making real hockey trades for other players and not the pick. A pick swap drop of 13 spots isn't appealing, and trying to reason it with a player on 1-2 yrs of term just isn't impressive frankly. We don't want scraps for #2. It has to be talent, with a lot of team control, not quantity. You guys would hang up the phone if it was a larger package for #2 involving Demko or Quinn – so go talk to OTT if you wanna move up.

  17. What your not hearing. Canucks interviewed the number 1 pick. They do it every year. The only way to hide the players your interested in is to interview everybody

  18. This is silly…DevilS should trade for Quinn Hughes for 2 second round picks in 2029 2030….makes the same amount of sense of JT Miller for the 2OA…🤣😂🤣😂
