Absolutely lost my shit there at the end. Clarkie undressing Linus Ulmark for his first career goal to win in OT in boston is basically a wet dream for an LA Kings fan. Whew baby.
The boys played an incomplete, but solid game against a great team. This win could be huge for this team.
Usually not this guy, but the NHL is the only league where a guy can commit a suspension worthy offense and remain on the ice. Fuck Marchand, that elbow was a piece of shit play. Really glad Arvy and Mikey seem to be okay.

When they showed Clarke in the box, I could see him talking to himself, like he was upset with himself, but I thought that was as close to a good penalty in OT as you get, especially considering how the game was being called to that point.
I just felt for the kid. He’s a rookie, the team has been … uh … not great, and now he’s sitting for something that we all thought was a bullshit call, that would decide the game.
And then he gets the puck out of the box (what a gorgeous set up pass that was) and just dekes the goalie out of his skates to win the game in overtime by scoring his first NHL goal.
Dude. Amazing. For the rest of his life, he has such a cool story to tell.

Clarkey showed his maturity this game. Yes, he had some unfortunate penalties, even the one which ultimately led to his goal. But for him to stick to his guns, and then zero in on that clear, and beat Ullmark with the pull back and drag is straight money. Welcome to the NHL, kiddo!
I was only able to listen to the radio broadcast but it was still a crazy exciting finish.
What a way to start the day. I had to stifle my screams at the end because my 2 year old is going down for a nap but I was ready to explode. CLARKE!! What a first NHL goal. I’m so happy about how he’s turned out.
The Hiller era had a weird smudge in BUF but beating EDM, NJ, and BOS is very very promising. Hope is back!

What a huge two points and a never quit win. That 6 on 4 and then 6 on 5 at the end was picture perfect. Byfield continues to be elite and Arvi and Clarke making huge differences. So happy for Clarke too, from being dead inside in the penalty box and then scores his first.
Hope Marchand at least gets a fine for the elbow to the face.
