If NJ actually gets Markstrom, I really hope we don't give up any of our young guys. Markstrom is 34. We should not be giving up any youth for an aging player.

Because they didn't even trade anybody and didn't make a move and not finding someone to trade with in exchange with some players and draft picks. They are waiting to look for someone but they didn't find one. That's the only thing that happened so far. They just need one player to acquire. That's the only thing.

As Flames fan, I like Markstrom. If Jersey wants him, the deal sounds good! Connys not just going to give him away. Holtz + picks, and Jerseys getting a chance making a deep run with Markstrom 34 years. Martin Brodeur was 43 years old? When he retired?

Markstrom to the Devils is a good deal if he says healthy for the next 2 seasons. Taking a chance moving forward with him and giving up Holtz which makes Calgary even more dangerous.
