Juraj Slafkovský breaks record after record

MONTREAL. Last week Juraj Slafkovský became first teenager
in Montreal Canadiens history, that scored a point in seven games in a row.
He managed to get a point in next game in which he broke Slovak record too.

Out of slovak teenagers, longest streak so far was held by Marián Gáborík,
who managed 7 point streak in Minnesota Wild jersey between 17th of january
to 6th of february 2001.

He picked up 9 points (5+4). 2022 draft pick number one has 12 points in his streak
for 6 goals and equal amount of asissts.

So far there are seven slovaks who managed 10 games point streaks in the NHL.

Peter Bondra – 11 games
Anton Šťastný – 11 games
Žigmund Pálffy – 13 games
Marián Šťastný – 13 games
Marián Hossa – 13 games
Peter Šťastný – 19 games

If we would include Stan Mikita, he would be second with 16 games point streak.

Teenagers born outside of north america, only Patrik Laine (15 games) and Andrej Svečnikov(11) managed to have a longer streak.

Juraj Slafkovský scored 40 (16+24) points in his 94 career games. He is second most productive teenager behind Marián Gáborík who managed to score 103 points in 149 games.

He scored 27 points in away games breaking Petr Svoboda’s canadiens teenage record.
In current month Slafkovský is with 10 points (5+5) sixth best scorer in NHL.

In his second season, He managed 0.55 point per game record so far, which is better
than Mikko Rantanen’s avarage (0.51) with whom he is often compared with.
