  1. I was at the game, made the last second decision to go. The tickets were for seats on the roof. As a Rangers fan, it was an amazing experience. Place was pure electricity. My voice is gone. Definitely a day I will never forget. LFGR 🗽

  2. just got home from the game. Without a doubt the most electric atmosphere I've experienced outside of a playoff game at the garden. Fans kept it civil for the most part too which made it more fun. Tailgate was a blast, the ending was even better.

  3. Thanks Shannon – we were at the game and with 7 minutes to go Rangers fans were in the dumps…what a turnaround!! Exciting game to say the least and of course great to be on the winning end.

  4. It was definitely colder when the sun went down, but it also wasn’t blinding me anymore either. An expensive day at MetLife, but well worth it. My 10yo son’s 1st Rangers/Islanders game and our team got the win. Love the channel, keep up the great work, LGR!!!

  5. enjoyed the game how it unfolded though for 50 minutes of it this looked like a typical Ranger Islander game where the Islanders get a nice lead, the Rangers close back in, but then the Islanders pull away.. Not this time, all credit to this Ranger team and I really do believe Lav did something that was missing last year, he called timeout, something Gallant would just never do. And it made a difference, the Rangers played better to end the first and stem the flow. If that wasnt done the Islanders would have run Shesterkin out of the game.

  6. Rempe did great. It was a poignant moment for the young man as his dad passed away 10 years to today, so lots of emotions going on there. Dobson is my favorite player now! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 7 straight! LGR!!!

  7. As a Ranger fan it gave you all the emotions. Boy did I want to turn it off a couple times (both of the early goals in period 2 n 3) Obviously an ecstatic finish. Really would have enjoyed watching this game as a neutral fan.

  8. I like both of those teams but I was cheering for the Islanders since they were the underdogs in that game

  9. Scottish
    New York Rangers fan here.

The game was a wild one great advert for The N.H.L.

It was buy far the best
N.H.L game I have personally watched post pandemic it was that good & not just because
The Rangers got the win, and I would still be saying that if we had lost 5 – 4, thankfully, we managed the comeback.

    I sead to my Girlfriend
I think this could be a high scoring game when it was 2 – 1
to the Islanders, it was just my gut feeling with it being an outdoor game & normally the ice surface is not great in outdoor games.

Had it been in doors, I do not honestly know if it would have been as high scoring or a win for us in the end.

    10 out of 10 N.H.L.
    😃.

  10. Never liked MetLife Stadium. When it’s too far away for Denis Potvin to hear, “Potvin sucks!” It kind of takes the intensity away.
I’ll take the win but trepidation moving forward. This was the 13th time this season Igor gave up 4 or more goals. 10th time Igor has given up back to back goals under a minute. No other goaltender has that distinction.
True, part of the problem is the fact that the Rangers have no speed on defense. That’s why they get caught flat footed.
But the other is Igor’s play. Molly Walker thinks J. Quick will supplant Igor in the Post Season.
    Stay tuned.

  11. Great Video, as usual, Shannon – while I get that, technically, it was A Shesterkin vs. Sorokin Game, it wasn't even close to The Goalie Duel that you would like to see with these 2 going up against each other. Thank God My Rangers Won. Let me know what you think

  12. What a weird game for Igor. 1st period he allows 3. A quick one to start the 2nd. But by the end of the 3rd I honestly felt like Igor played an all in all solid game. Somehow? Like he allowed 5 but also given the shot quantity and quality the Rangers allowed it was almost unsurprising

  13. I was at the game. I didn't feel cold at all at any point. Atmosphere was fantastic with fans from both teams enjoying the moments. Winners of that game were the fans in attendance.

  14. Am I the only one who feels like those last two penalties would not have been called if it wasn't the last period with the rangers down?

  15. I was there, as an Islanders fan it was one more in a never ending string of incomplete performances. Hiring Roy was a big step in the right direction but unless the organization supports him and assigns responsibility the players who have become comfortable with mediocrity will continue to fail.

  16. I was at this game. Lost my voice. Feel bad for my fellow ranger fans that left before it was over. REALLYYYYY wish Wheeler and Chytil were with us for that one. 😢

  17. Typical Islander game…Horvat with a point, Barzal with a point, Dobson with a point….lead throughout and gag at the end only to lose in overtime. You could absolutely believe there is a script.

  18. As an Isles fan I’m embarrassed I bought tickets to this game. Congrats on your home game win Rags we are an embarrassment for a franchise and should burn it all to the ground. Seriously pathetic effort and shows serious flaws. We could really use Celebrini with this pathetic roster smh. I hope they tank the rest of the year truly a display pathetic. You guys didn’t make an epic comeback haven’t seen a game we choked harder than that.

  19. If I have to see Mayfield's stupid face looking at the referee after another 3rd period penalty I'm going to jump off the UBS Center. Ridiculous. If I'm Roy I'm picking a new captain and Doug Houda is also looking for a new job. This penalty kill is atrocious. Dobson is an assist machine, said Panarin. Geez

  20. And by the way, how was Lafreniere not called for 2 on that blatant dive on Mayfield's trip? Mayfield is not smart, but are we really going to let young Crosby antics back in the league just like that? That is a bad look & not how NHL is going to win fans

  21. None of the goalies looked settled in the beginning, but Isles were able to push Rangers around for the first period…. And then Rangers decided to wake up starting with Shesty (he settled down). To me 5th Isles goal should have been a penalty on Romanov, and yeah people would say it was a continuation of a shot, no 29 out of 30 times it is a high sticking penalty and it gets called, so excuse me. Isled got a freebe on Laffty penalty, so did Isles got some squeeky calls. Over all great game!

  22. Thrilling game . As a NYR fan, happy for the win but would have been ok if they lost by 1 in reg or OT b/c they fought back. The NHL / ESPN couldn't possibly be disappointed b/c all the stars for both teams scored except 1 goal each by d men. Strange symmetry a d goal by Gustafson to start for NYR & a d goal by Romanov for the Isles last. The odds of 2 goals by the NYR w/ the goalie pulled is unbelievable. Sloppy play, a lot of hard hitting, some scrums, a fight & key if not spectacular saves by both goalies.

  23. Let’s be realistic, rangers won cause the islanders choked like they have been choking all year.rangers aren’t a serious team they will be an early exit. Mayfeild and Dobson are straight garbage, add holmstrom and whalstrom to the garbage list.
