Bishop Luers is 7-0 and first place in the SAC after beating Bishop Dwenger last Friday night. It’s the Knights’ first win against the Saints since 2015. As has been the case much of the season, quarterback Carson Clark and receiver Brody Glenn proved to be a quality combination. Clark threw for 233 yards and five touchdowns. Glenn caught four of those touchdowns and racked up 130 yards.
Luers has beaten three of the top five teams in the SAC. In addition to Dwenger, they have also beaten second-place Carroll and fifth-place Homestead. All of those wins came on the road.
