The walls are so steep he can’t get out.
A doctor passes by and the guy shouts up, ‘Hey you. Can you help me out?’ The doctor writes a prescription, throws it down in the hole and moves on.
Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up, ‘Father, I’m down in this hole can you help me out?’ The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on
Then a friend walks by, ‘Hey, Joe, it’s me can you help me out?’ And the friend jumps in the hole. Our guy says, ‘Are you stupid? Now we’re both down here.’ The friend says, ‘Yeah, but I’ve been down here before and I know the way out.

I thought about this bit from The West Wing when reading this [article in the Toronto Star](https://www.thestar.com/sports/hockey/sabres-season-opening-high-aspirations-are-but-a-faint-glimmer-in-falling-further-out-of/article_5297dbd3-3a0f-5c3c-90a1-f5401774ed80.html) that quotes Cozens with:
> [Last year] “We were able to play more free and loose,” forward Dylan Cozens said of last season. “Now we come into this season with only one expectation that is the playoffs. And when we’re not meeting that expectation — which we’re not — obviously the mood does change a bit and we start getting more frustrated.”
This team is down in a hole and the head coach is writing prayers and prescriptions because he doesn’t know the way out. It’s also looks pretty clear to me that the “plan” to learn how to score and then learn how to play defense wasn’t really much of a plan at all.

This was a nice save. Was going in from the angle I seen at the game. Nice long glove save
