    Trocheck has been an unstoppable force the past few games.

    2 goals and an assist outdoors, and then about 200 shots on goal tonight before finally getting the empty netter.

    Guy has been such a great piece on this team. Hard to beleive hes only been here a couple years. It *feels* like he’s been a Rangers Lifer.

    I was slightly nervous at 2-1 even though I thought we were playing pretty well overall. Glad we pulled it out. Igor being on his A game tonight was good timing.

    Won’t talk to how productive the fourth line will be but the Undertaker and Kane, Brothers of Destruction sure are fun to watch together. They don’t have to really goon it up like Prust or Rupp but just keep throwing those big bodies around.

    Feel like it’s time Kakko joins the PK. He seems to be getting real momentum and I’d like to see him get more ice time some way and that’s probably the easiest way. Make him feel more important, more involved, keep him skating, etc.

    Extremely well played game where every single player on both teams made a notable contribution, led by Igor. It may have nothing the most emotional game of the year, but it was certainly the best played one overall by both teams

    I was 9 when I fell in love with this team, 1994. I’ve been saying “this is our year” just about every year since then.

    The only down side to this night is the MTA ALWAYS making the commute home a fucking nightmare. NYC deserves better than this medieval level service.

    Any chance the league looks at that empty netter at the end of the game? Someone shared a screenshot in r/hockey and it looks like it crossed the line with 0.2 seconds left.

    It means nothing for the game result, but goal differential and goals for are both used as standings tiebreakers. It’s highly unlikely it would ever come to that, but…

    That’s the best we have looked in a long time. A complete game with intensity all 60 minutes. Also probably Igor’s best game of the year as well.

    Stellar win tonight! Igor was all over it and when he wasn’t he was lucky. Huge win! Now go stomp the devils and take a 19 point lead on them in the standings.

    Great win where it could have been easily chalked up to a let down game after the emotional performance in the stadium series. Relieving they didn’t let up and keep onto the next game.

    I am not going to rehash the goodrow issues. But tonight he had several shorthanded opportunities that with just a small adjustment with his positioning, timing, or shot that he would be such a valuable asset for this team. I’m really rooting for him to figure this out because with just some small tweaks to his game he could have had a couple goals tonight. It such a shame we can’t find a way to turn his forced turnovers into transition goals.

    What a freaking game from Igor. He looked like a totally different goalie than most starts this year. Rebound control alone was night and day difference. So glad to see he’s clearly feeling good!
