1st comment – lets go! Uhm.. Yeah they can afford him, but they NEED to trade one of their D men as well. Imagine Hanafin, Edvinson, wallman and sieder as your top 4. Need an elite goal scorer this summer and if Raymond gets in that top tier 30+ goals a year and we'll be cup contenders
If he commits to sign long-term, he would be a great target for us. MƤttƤƤ and Berggren are obvious choices to send back, but we'll probably need to add something more like Sƶderblom or Albert Johansson and a 1st

Stevie can burn cash for about 4 more years and then all those guys need real contracts
tbh I would prefer Chychrun and I think we'd be buying low for him, but I'd be happy with Hanifin as well for sure. One reason I think we might have a fairly active trade deadline is because we can sell guys at the deadline and then start bringing up Berggren and Edvinsson. Potentially being sellers and improving the team (or even draft capital) at the same time. People are talking about trading Berggren but I think it's just as likely we trade Kane to a bigger contender, and then also trading Gostisbehere and/or some role players to get Chychrun or Hanifin
Give Justin Holl, and retain some salary, Berggren, and a 2nd.
