Looking at our lineup , it seems jarring how thin we are beyond the top 9.
Nosek has been an upgrade over Chris Tierney but frankly neither of these guys should be roster players.
Ideally, Nosek should be 1 of 2 extra forwards to rely on – were we headed for playoffs.
There’s a Michael McLeod shaped hole in the roster, and a few players around the league could be good gets.
Marcus Johansson – 2m aav, signed for 1 more season. Average size, speedy, currently healthy and playing in the Wilds middle 6.
Not only does he bolster about 100 playoff games under his belt somehow, but hes also one of the smartest I’ve seen on the ice.
I would absolutely trade a b prospect like Vukojevic, for example, along with a draft pick to make this happen.

I mean of course MoJo would be welcome back, but off the top of my head I think I’d prefer Lars Eller for that sort of role. Good faceoff guy.
