It looks like Jesse puulujarvi will be a healthy scratch. He has played ok. He led the team in hits last game despite playing only 5 minutes. I don’t know why Phillips is on the second line with Malkin instead of Jesse and the other Finnish player on the third line instead of JP.
I agree with Hunter. POJ is best suited with Letang but he’s still not good enough. Hopefully he’s there to inflate whatever value he has come trade deadline. He’s a nice dude but he’d be much better off on another team.
You think Dubas is going to be honest about the coaching staff? Even if he was going to fire Sullivan the next day, he’d give Sullivan his full confidence, respect and will endorse him lol

Man desperation is kicking in. It would be nice to see pusti-malkin-doc. If philips looks out of place then i hope they make that switch quick. Reilly smith was a terrible miss. He'd have to score every other game at this point to redeem his value.
Isn't it really a bottom 9 scoring problem, not just the bottom 6? Rakell was supposed to be the 2nd line RW this season, and he has 5 (!!!) goals on the season. (Ryan Poehling … yes, that Ryan Poehling … has more for the Flyers.) Smith was supposed to be the 2nd line LW, and we've seen how that's gone. And now Malkin only has 2 goals in 2004 (17 games). The problem is this team has a bunch of wingers who are best suited to play with Crosby, and not a single winger who can be productive away from Crosby.
