Cheap centre on expiring contract, we can definitely use the body.

I always read Friedmann’s Habs headlines in a Jamaican accent

For a moment, I was thinking Colin White, the former Devils defenceman. I didn’t know of any other Colin White.

Can we, as a society, stop referring the city of Montreal as MON?

Was literally just looking at the lines for today and saw him scratched on pittsburgh and wondered where he’s been than I open up reddit and this is the first post.

Used to be a force on the forecheck, IIRC

  7. Was he the guy Max Domi was chirping a couple of years ago (“WAIVERS!”)?

  8. La-Spatule

Waiving Brandon Gignac is the scary thing in here.

NHL 19-22 cheat code Colin white. He use to pop off and score so much in the sim

God I hate MON… It’s so widely accepted as being MTL, that I get so confused every time I see it

I’m not gonna lie, Colin White is too basic of a game for me to pretend like I’m familiar with his game.

Like Gignac probably go unclaimed. Don’t understand this.

  13. [In the GT last night we were talking how Avs are scouting the Habs heavily](https://www.reddit.com/r/Habs/comments/1awe3b5/game_thread_buffalo_sabres_24274_at_montreal/krjru3j/). My deduction is that Evans is who they’re looking at, because there’s not really anything we could help Colorado with except at C. Cogliano is the Avs main defensive C, he’s sick, and there’s not really anybody behind him. He turns UFA this summer, so Evans would also fill a need in Colorado next year.

So White could be just an replacement ahead of an Evans deal.

I have doubts about this entire move being motivated by the desire to send Gignac to Laval to help the playoffs push. Seems more like a by-product than the main rationale.

I thought this was the defenceman who played for the Devils in the 2000s and I was like ‘holy shit that guy is still around? Why are we signing him?’

Then I realized I’m just old now.

But I’m looking forward to being wrong here, Kent has made some good moves, let’s see how it pans out.
