  1. as a knights and caps fan that was certainly a double edged sword. on the one hand, caps won (while losing tj oshie to a non-contact injury), and stayed only 6 points out of the playoffs. on the other hand, tor @ vgk. what more can be said…

  2. It’s this part of the season that separates the bruins from last year and all the great teams this year

  3. All I could think about watching the Stars game was your video about what drives you crazy watching games. Just an awful performance by everyone. I turned it off halfway through the third to save my sanity.

  4. It looks like he wrote it but didn’t talk about Tanev’s brutal beat down on Garland in the Kraken/Canucks game. What a one sided fight.

  5. Great fast edge of your seat hockey for the entire game . Canes/Cats game probably the best regular season game this year. Nice to see the Canes sticking up for themselves at the end of the game. That fight was missing in the playoffs.

  6. Huge win for the Kraken! Last two seasons we’ve struggled against the Canucks, so to win the series the season they are the top team in the league is a nice confidence booster.

  7. i didn't think Rempe deserved a match penalty, but i get it. it was probably smart to send him off, if the refs hadn't they would have lost control of the game. This had to be a dispiriting loss for NJD, they got dogwalked by a Ranger team in their own barn which has been winning, but winning poorly until now. this is the first 60 minute effort the Rangers have really put in where they were good in all 3 zones and Igor seems to be in a much better place finally.

  8. Tonight was the end of the season for NJ. Its over. Rangers absolutely embarrassed the team, and the fans. something BIG needs to change. Who plays Daws 6 times in a row? Its ridiculous, burn it down and try again next year.

  9. When it comes to the three different fan bases, isles devils and Rangers, the New Jersey Devil fans are the most antagonistic. They’re the fanbase that you love to hate. anytime the devils score a goal they play this chant that says you suck! for the Rangers to go into New Jersey and rip their heart out is a win you can’t measure unless your Rangers fan who is gone to Isles game and the Devils game. big win for the fans and another good solid win for the Rangers

  10. I really thought the AVS had gotten over the hump of winning 'tightly contested' games this year. I was wrong. 😞

  11. Off topic: look at how many teams have high priced guys going on long term injury. Just in time for the deadline!!! What a loop hole 👀

  12. Fla/Car game had the feel of a playoff game… hard checking right off first face-off, stellar goaltending, fast paced and some great chances… highly enjoyed the game

  13. It feels so great to see Igor starting to look more like himself! Has me wondering if you have ever thought about making a video on Benoit Allaire, the work he does for goalies is absolute magic and personally I would love to hear you talk about it!

  14. Canes looked good. Florida tried to.start some sh* after the game was over. Pyotr comes over to backup his guys. I really hope a win like this boosts the Canes confidence in themselves come playoff time.

  15. The stars got whooped. It was ugly as heck.. 😡 3 goals on 11 shots.. reminds me off playoff oettenger last year who would randomly play awful and they'd get blown out. I'm back to not trusting them again and it hurts.
The leafs actually look like contenders right now .. dark horse?

  16. I thought shesterkin looked a little upset with his team for goofing around so much in the 3rd and costing him the shutout. whole team was trying to feed laf for his 3rd goal, which is understandable when you're up by so much, but yeah

  17. Rangers dominate the Debbie's for 9 in a row.. Shesty sparkled flashing the leather.. That Shesty pass to the Bread-Man was great…. Debbie's fan's shouting TROOOBBBS!!!! Then heading towards the exits…… L.G.R.!!!!!😊😂😅😮

  18. There was a problem with the Ticket app to get into the VGK game. That started things off on a bad note. The 1st period was probably their worst of the year, and the rest of the game if not the season. Cassidy went over to Pietrangelo right at the end of the game while still on the bench.

  19. Hey THG! Love your channel, learning so much across the league. I wanted to ask if you could do a video about your thoughts on the evolution of hitting in the game and the ethics around it. Players should protect themselves, how to define a legal hit, balancing the different sizes of players, proportionality for action rather than effect, that sort of thing. Not so much worried about refs making human mistakes but more so about the effects the calls have on the game over time and the projected role of hitting might be as these rules develop?
I’m a rangers fan and feel conflicted about trouba and rempe. Glad they’re not hitting my players but never feels good to see a player leave the ice. Also to note trouba and rempe both hit Bastian hard. Looked like Bastian was a common denominator too. Just curious to understand when it’s the hitters fault and when it’s the guy who got hit. Many contradictory examples have me guessing. Anyway thanks for your take on an amazing sport and for sharing your knowledge and experience with us newer fans!

  20. Coaching compatibility…isles and Ruff and Roy with New Jersey would make more sense in terms of youth and speed and up tempo energies.
