Dubas is the one who needs to go. Karlsson?!? Seriously?!? Most overrated d-man in the NHL, by a longshot. 101 points and still was a minus 26? In his prior 14 seasons in the NHL – he was a minus in 9 of them. A career -95… and now you're stuck with that $10 Million Cap hit for this season and then the next 3.
Dubas will sit on his hands and do nothing. FSG is a disaster. I miss Mario.

How reirdon can continue to be in charge of PP is ridiculous. They are ranked 31st with all that talent. Anyone can lead them to 2nd to last including me or you. who trades for Karlsson and then asks him to change how he plays on the PP? The line combos are a head scratcher too. Why did sullivan roll out those players in OT? The 1st round pick they sent to San Jose for EK is top 10 protected. Trade who you can, ensure you draft top 10. Trade Jake, get a late 1st round pick so you have two 1st round picks this year. They cant sign Jake to an 8 year deal north of $10M/yr. I know Sullivan negotiated with FSG directly for an extension but the message is stale.
They don’t have a 1st round pick. Their prospect pipeline is terrible. LA core group wasn’t 36,37,36, and 33 when they tried to “ get younger “. It’s over and nobody wants to say it.

Trade Crosby to a contender, Colorado maybe, he has earned it. Would be great to see what kind of return he would give. If they could move Crosby it might make Malkin, Letang and Karlsson waive their no move clause. Max out what ever you can get right now. Guentzel I would keep.
As a pens fan they look way out of sink. Idc if a team is stacked with super stars (pens are not). If they don’t gel as a team it’s pointless.
Pens have 5Ps (Pittsburgh Penguins Pointless Power Play). It is absolutely horrendous!! It’s got these super stars out there and can’t score while giving up shorties.
Sully is a good guy but the team isn’t clicking. It’s similar to Tomlin and the Steelers. They’re there but missing pieces. Bring in someone new. Jump start from a blank page with a new coach.
the problem IS the core group. Sid is playing the best hockey of his career right now, but Malkin is absolute DEAD WEIGHT. He has done NOTHING in 3 three years. Lose him. Letang is okay but his retirement is near and he's prone to mistakes. EK can step up if he needs to. They fixed the goalie situation but the rest of the roster is OLD AND SLOW. They just don't have it, it's sad to say that but it's true. Sully probably won't get fired but he seems to be a problem too. They can't beat the WBS Penguins…..lifelong fan but I'm so deflated watching them right now
Smart move would be to blow up the team for picks and prospects, but i can understand why Dubas would want to give Crosby and Malkin another chance at the playoffs.
