No matter what else, I’m grateful for this squad and this subreddit, because I wake up every morning, look outside at the world, and think to myself, “Thank Christ I’m not in Pittsburgh.”
I would of started ersson both games
Against the Rangers: boy, the Flyers would have won if the Rangers had a different goalie.
Against the Penguins: boy, the Flyers would have won if the Flyers had a different goalie.
The Flyers did bad, but you’re all still great 🤗 love yous.
Ersson, Hart, Talbot, Mrazek, Jones, Elliott, Lyon, Stolarz, or Neuvirth win that game for us. Literally any goalie we’ve had in the past 7 years probably gives us a better chance.
This team played way too hard this weekend to get shut out of points for the standings.
So Cal fucking sucks
Horrible goaltending lost us the game but we’d be crazy to think we have a chance in the playoffs with this power play.

Well, pretty much nothing went the way I wanted for my first live game, but I was committed to staying positive and having my fun through the game, and mostly managed to do that, and I’m going to stay positive now. There were lots of really fun individual moments, and even thought I didn’t get to see my favorite play like I’d hoped, but this game made me appreciate just how much I love seeing Ersson in the net even more. However, permitting myself just one quick spot of negativity, fuck Carter Hart I blame him for this.
I get it’s a loss against the pens and one we definitely needed but I actually feel pretty good after this weekend. We played the rangers well and stuck with them and nearly tied it at the end. Then on the back half of a back and back with multiple injuries we were a goalie away from winning against a team who thinks they’re a playoff team. In the playoffs we probably don’t have to ever see Petersen and I mean if we’re truly rebuilding this game doesn’t matter at all. So really not a terrible weekend. It’s important to remember that we’re supposedly rebuilding and everything is gravy at this point for this team

6 goals, two injuries, and they only lost by 1. Idk, maybe I’m just in a bad mood now, but the whiny pessimistic scapegoating mob mentality is a lame look. Flyers didn’t play their best today, but they didn’t back down and they got pretty freaking close to tying it up. 🤷♀️ Kinda seems to me like it could have been worse.

Drysdale had a labral tear repaired in the past. As an ortho doc, it would be really unusual to tear the labrum from a direct blow to the shoulder. My guess is AC joint or “stinger” with the way he held his arm. Either way, speedy recovery Jamie.
