The TNT announcers nailed it today against Lightning, what I have been saying ALL YEAR… the Devils are chasing everything and anticipating nothing. That is failure to coach. This team is the joke of the league. Ducks and Sharks smelling blood already for next week. This Devils team is the biggest disappointment in this decade of sports so far.
Deneen, Gallant, Claude Julien, Jeff Halpern, Todd Nelson, all good, certainly better options than the laughing stock behind our bench right now.
Stop with the "fire Lindy" nonsense. Fitz take more blame then Lindy. Lindy isn't the one who never traded for a Goalie. Lindy isn't the one who followed the Ranger playbook, and traded young talent for old, non-clutch "stars." Also, this team is still so young. At best, it's the injuries. At worst, it's The GM mixing the wrong medicine, and growing pains.
Team has more problems than they can fix now and its way too late to fix. Fan base is spending good money and getting mediocrity for it. Asking for 7% increase is a smack in face after your play this year. Luke is just making too many mistakes that cost the team. When Dougie was out for season Fitz never got the green light to spend w the Commanders purchase by ownership.
