Florida Panthers coach Paul Maurice speaks before his team plays host to the Montreal Canadiens in Sunrise on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024.
The Panthers have now won eight of the past nine — and 10 of 11 against the Canadiens.
On Tuesday, the Panthers beat Buffalo 3-2.
Florida trailed 1-0 in the first before Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk scored later in the period.
Brandon Montour, the former Buffalo defenseman, had three points — including the game-winning goal midway through the third.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 29 saves for his 29th win.
The Panthers have not allowed more than two goals in their past 14 games — and are 12-2-0 during that run.
After playing Montreal, Florida travels to Detroit to face the Red Wings on Saturday at 3 p.m. (ABC)
