Move it around they obviously have an aggressive uh penalty kill a good penalty kill so just try to break their pressure and get pucks to the net and you know tough to stop it if if you got guys in front so um just simple and hard
And direct how are you feeling at the end of the second period because it wasn’t your best period luk pcan stands on his head and you’re still only down down by a goal yeah we’re fine I mean it’s we knew that they were going to push they
Pushed um they played physical um they played the their game and uh it wasn’t our best period but it’s a two to1 hockey game like you’re going to get outplayed by good teams at points you know they’re they’re a really good hockey team and and they push and that’s
Okay we we got out of it our goal he played extremely well to keep us in the hockey game it’s 2-1 game going in the third and we feel like we’re we’re in the match so um we were okay do you know what type of game it’s going to be when
You play the Panthers how tough was it the way it was kind of officiated a little bit in the third it is what it is I mean the officials are uh they’re doing their best they’re not going to be perfect nobody is we’re not going to be perfect hockey players
They’re not going to make perfect calls and and I mean you can’t blame the officials I mean I tell my 8-year-old kid you can’t blame officials for a game so I’m not going to start doing it now do you feel like you guys had push back to the physicality that they brought
Um thought some guys did you know we grinded a bit sometimes we grinded sometimes we um you know might have taken the easy way out a couple times but I mean that’s the way they play they play hard they play in your face um fast aggressive and they’re going to
Hit you and you got to know what’s coming and just got to brace and um you know you don’t have to throw 20 any body checks out there but you know take some contact it gets you into the game it feels you know you feel good it’s a Ty a
Team that it’s easy to feel good against them because you know what kind of game is coming at you they’re coming and that’s okay and we got to be you know you got to put your big boy pants on and play a hockey game like that and I think
That um you know not we had a lot of guys doing it but um could have used more when it comes to the you know the third period K when you fall down by a goal against that team they don’t allow much what’s the challenge like to to try
To get back in it at that point like it’s just kind of old school hockey like they’re going to play man on- man they’re not going to let you get to the net you got to get to the net and you got to bang in some goals like Tom
Did like that’s it that’s the game and um Unfortunately they did a better job of that than we did tonight and um you know we came out on the wrong end of it and it’s it’s too many times against this team over the last um last little
While and it had been disappointing too that you have to kill off a full full two-minute 5 on three for whatever the reason I mean as you said I’m not you’re not going to criticize the refer but he still had to kill off a full two-minute
Five on three yeah I mean you give a uh good power play or any power play two minutes a five on three they’re going to score a lot of the time so um you know we just eat that one and you we did a good job for a little bit but you know
You eat it you’re down 3-1 you continue to push and and you try to get back in the game it is what it is and um you know we just just didn’t we just didn’t score enough goals for
