Some fans want the Sabres to go in the direction of a more defensively responsible game, other fans want the Sabres to lean into what they do best and maximize their offense. Both have their pros and cons, though I suppose it’s all moot as it appears the Sabres have made their decision.
OK, now let’s take the good offensive breakouts and finishing from 2022-23, the solid defense and goaltending since the all-star break, add in a little PP magic…and put it all into Lord Stanley’s Cup.
Wait, don’t some of these stats suggest the Sabres are bad?
The Sabres have become a very boring team to watch. At least last year when they would lose it was fun.
