  1. this narrative of having a right hand shot d is so bs. the leafs up front of domie, bertuzzi, knies, mcann, greigor and reaves are physically tougher players to be pushed around by the opposing team's physical players. mcabe, benoit and laggesson are hit machines in their own zone. leafs playoff weakness is that they get pushed around and are not mentally tough. this year the leafs addressed their toughness issue and will go deep in the playoffs, so relax kyper lol.

  2. I'm with Sammy and Nick in being disappointed but it probably isn't ideal our GM is their former. I never understood why we couldn't give them a 1rst and get a 3rd or 4th back.

  3. I really wanted Tanev, but lets be honest, he would have immediately got hurt and it would have all been for nothing, it's the Leaf way.

  4. Kyper “this can’t go to being a 4th round pick for Lyubushkin” … well Kyp, how bout a 3rd and a 6th ? 😂

(I’m ok with the trade since we are desperate for right D and he’s at 75% retained, still bit of an overpay)

  5. Has Lyubushin been hurt this year? Look at his games played since Jan 2 he has missed 13 games. Hope the Leafs didn't trade for a D that was healthy scratched multiple times for the Ducks.
