I’m RAPIDLY becoming a big fan of Annunen. The way he’s played his last 3-4 starts (Tampa included) compared to the first few? He’s looked like a completely different goalie. Positioning, glove , speed and reflexes, all of it.
Still too early to say whether he’s a long term answer in net… but I’d give him a meaningful shot at backup duty next season and then go from there since it will be Georgie’s last year of his contract.
But wouldn’t it be something to have a long-term answer in net again? 😍
