First time ever posting this guy but this is the first time almost ever that he has really been praising a ranger player consistently.
Idk who we trade for but Rempe and Edstrom NEED to be our 4th line. Drury has to swallow his pride and ego and get rid of goodrow or allow Lavi to make him inactive. Vesey-Edstrom-Rempe should be our playoff 4th line

People make it seem like getting rid of Badrow is something that can be done easily. If it was so easy, he would’ve been gone. I don’t want him here as much as the next guy but we’re stuck with him for now
You keep Goodrow in the lineup come playoffs and solely use him on the penalty kill. He needs to be a specialist solely used for that if he’s in the lineup. His contract is an albatross and we’ll have to give up picks to jettison him so is what it is.
Goodrow is respected in the locker room and has the faith of his coach. I don’t think he’ll be on the team next year but I don’t see him going anywhere this season.
And you just don’t dress a guy to kill penalties.
It looks like he’s leaving his feet to hit, but when I frame by frame it (or as close to it as I can get), he’s on the ice the whole way until he actually makes contact which makes me think it’s just that he’s so tall that the guy gets under him and lifts him up?
The whole nhl and hockey subs are crying about this hit. If you’re moving with momentum expecting to hit a wall but hit a pillow instead, you’re going to lose your balance. The shifting of weight and movement in a body check naturally means leaning into it, which means you’re feet may come off the ice if you’re a foot taller and much stronger than the guy you’re hitting, especially if he’s not as solid as you expected. Jumping into a hit looks way different and he railroaded from the bottom of the circle to the corner. If that’s a charge, then so is the Krug hit on Thomas a few years ago. Plus, the kid answered the bell for it. Sorry for the rant, just feel like it needs to be said in a sub where there aren’t Rangers hate boners
