Woaw so many ''pro players'' we have in this comment section. I don't even need to explain that no matter if the puck would have gone in or not doesn't matter in this situation because Bäckström managed to prevent the risk of the puck going in, better safe than sorry. The point is that he didn't take the risk in case the puck would for some random reason bump of the ice and make the puck move more towards the goal and if that would of happened then Bäckström would be the one we would blame for the goal if he didn't even try to stop it as he did in this clip. Please people, jump off your high horses, you all probably suck at playing hockey so don't even try to debate against a move like this made by an actual pro.

It really is true Backstrom and Ovi are the only people who showed up consistently every game.
