We’re on our way to Buffalo Sabre-ing our star players away

  2. Not the most reliable source but I’m ready to hear it corroborated. There’s also the question of how many teams is this to be expected from, it might well be every single one still – they say the right things in the media but we don’t *know*. Still, seems like a lotta smoke in that direction.

Hey look! We’re doing the same stuff with Hughes and Meier lol

We allowed Jack Hughes to go back on the ice after he sprained his MCL

I got skewered on this sub recently for daring to blame the medical staff.

Ok…this makes me fear my suspicions were right and they’re doing the same with other players. wtf is going on?

  7. Can anyone actually read the article before commenting?

Blackwood literally says that he always had the choice and the staff told him he would not risk re-aggravating the injury

  8. As much the rumors have been about the devils medical staff being poor and rushing people back .it is bad but I am hearing this is a league wide issue .just blackwood hasn’t been hurt as bad yet elsewhere to see it on the other side .

  9. Well at least we aren’t forcing pills down the players throats like the flyers.

Wonder if we have a history of this with any other goalies…. Cory, Blackwood, Crawford? (wonder if he retired because he and the medical staff disagreed…,) Bernier, etc…

Add on more recent players like Meier, Hughes, Nico, Siegenthaler, Nosek, Bastian, Haula, Palat, etc…

Also makes you think if Vanecek had been playing through injury, and if we are rushing Daws back after a pretty major injury.

Devils medical staff has been suspect for a long time. I wonder what other former devils (or current) would say if it was actually

  12. Since you fucking chuckleheads can’t read the article:

“It was conversations. We talked about it together. Obviously, you can always say no,” Blackwood explained. “It was one of those conversations we had where it’s probably not going to get worse if you keep going, but it might take longer to get back to 100.” -M.Blackwood.
